Border Women’s Aid
BWA is the only domestic abuse service in the Scottish Borders run by women for women. They offer confidential, practical and emotional support to all women seeking to escape domestic abuse and coercive control through their Outreach Service, as well as safe accommodation to those who need it.
Survivors Unite
Provides dedicated, skilled, compassionate and flexible sexual abuse recovery support to adult (16+) survivors of childhood sexual abuse in the Scottish Borders.

Scottish Borders Rape Crisis Centre
Offers practical and emotional support and information to all women and girls over 12 years old, in the Scottish Borders, who have experienced rape or sexual violence at any time in their life.

BORDER LINKS
They develop new and exciting opportunities to support social and economic inclusion for people with learning disabilities – enabling them to play a part, gain in confidence and get the most out of life in their own community.

Streets Ahead
Streets Ahead was set up to enable people with learning disabilities to be supported in their own homes. They offer support, guidance and practical help to a range of people living in the Scottish Borders. They also offer support to their families and carers.

Local area co-ordination – learning disabilities
They work with adults aged 18 and over and also support young people coming to the end of their time at high school.

AbilityNet – a digital world accessible to all
Community-based volunteers and free online resources help individuals with any disability, of any age, to use all kinds of digital technology.

Provide one to one befriending and group activities for people who are 65 and over, living in Berwickshire or Kelso.

Interest Link Borders: Befriending for people with learning disabilities

Borders Additional Needs Group
Borders Additional Needs Group is an outreach service for parents, young carers and disabled children with additional support needs.

Borders Carers Centre
They are commissioned by the Health and Social Care Partnership to carry out the Carers Support Plan in line with The Carers Act (Scotland) 2016. This is a carer’s legal right and gives access to support, information and advice.

ParentSpace
ParentSpace offer courses, drop-ins, workshops, individual and befriending support to parents and carers of children of all ages.

Nurture the Borders
Provide a range of support services to help parents struggling with emotional or mental wellbeing during their pregnancy, or in the first two years of their baby’s life.

Berwickshire Wheels – Community Transport
They offer affordable door to door transport for a range of outings. These include, hospital and GP appointments, other health related appointments, shopping trips and social gatherings. Booking via https://www.bavs.org.uk/community-transport or by calling 0300 456 1985. They rely on volunteer drivers so please give as much notice as possible before your chosen date.
