Kooth – support for young people aged 11-18
An online counselling and emotional wellbeing support service for young people with a safe and secure means of accessing support from a professional team of qualified counsellors.
Togetherall – a safe, online community to support mental health
Support for anyone aged 16 or over living within the Scottish Borders. Trained professionals are available 24/7 and there is a choice of safe therapeutic services, including online self-help courses.

Borders Independent Advocacy Service
Provide specialist advocacy to people with mental health related issues and work with people with learning disabilities. They will listen to you, help you choose what is best for you, support you at important meetings, be on your side and safeguard your rights.

Local Area Co-ordination – mental health
Help adults aged 18 years and over who have acknowledged mental health difficulties that are affecting their quality of life.

Health in Mind
They promote positive mental health and wellbeing in the Scottish Borders by facilitating Listening Space and Walk & Talk drop in groups, Peer to Peer Personal Development workshops and 1:1 Peer Connecting.

Nurture the Borders
Provide a range of support services to help parents struggling with emotional or mental wellbeing during their pregnancy, or in the first two years of their baby’s life.

Breathing Space
A free, confidential phone and web-based service for people in Scotland experiencing low mood, depression or anxiety.

Walk It walks
Aims to improve health in the Scottish Borders by encouraging people to walk. Free, short, low level walks last around 60 minutes and finish up with refreshments. All ages and abilities are welcome and many of the walks are also Dementia Friendly and/or Macmillan Friendly.
